I am very pleased with our performance today. I wasn't sure what to expect. We have only had one speed workout this year. We've been working a lot on mileage. I thought the girls ran great. Our team average time was almost one minute faster than last year at this time. You have to be excited about that. This was the first varsity race for two of our girls. We have taken some huge steps since last season. Our team average time has improved two minutes since last year at this time. We have been focusing more on miles rather than speed so far this season. I am anxious to see what happens when we add speed to our workouts. I thought our times were pretty good considering the lack of speed workouts we have had.
